Logitech's HD Pro C920 webcam is a higher-end model of HD webcam, intended for users who frequently use video calling features and want to appear in high definition on the other end. It may also appeal to users who record videos of themselves at the computer (e.g. for YouTube). For video calling, the output format is 720p, but this camera can record in 1080p. It has two microphones on either side of the camera for stereo sound recording, and takes snapshots of up to 15 megapixels. There is a sturdy mounting clip on the bottom of this camera to help position on a laptop or monitor. Technical features include Carl Zeiss optics, 20-stage autofocus, and H.264-standard video encoding which helps reduce the strain on processors when displaying video.
