The Linksys DMC250 Director is a part of the new Linksys by Cisco Wireless Home Audio (WHA) line. The WHA is a multi-zone, entire-house audio system that connects together using draft 802.11n wireless networking, Ethernet, and DLNA 1.5 to create a system that allows the user to wirelessly play and control music in every room of the home and can be pieced together by cost and need. The Linksys DMC250 Director is a Wireless-N Music Player with an integrated 50 W amplifier. It is designed to enable your existing audio equipment or speaker system to play all your digital music. The first reviewer obviously doesn't actually have it. He lists "large physical size is boxy and unappealing." It's a 6" cube. If it were any smaller, it wouldn't fit the nice screen he listed as a positive or its impressive number of ports on the back. I actually wish it were bigger, so it would have a larger screen. Try something out before you review it, rather than skimming through a brochure.
