The Linksys WRT54G3G is a Wireless-G Router for 3G/UMTS Broadband. It features a Wireless Access Point for Wireless-G and Wireless-B device connections, a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 switch for Ethernet devices, AND the ability to let your whole network share a 3G/UMTS or GPRS Internet connection. Essentially, the WRT54G3G is for sharing a Vodafone 3G/UMTS or GPRS Internet connection and other resources with Ethernet wired and Wireless-G clients. Plus, the WRT54G3G includes a PC Card slot for any Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G/UMTS data card. Most notable about the WRT54G3G is its support for advanced security encryption, including WEP or industrial-strength WPA. Additional features of the Linksys WRT54G3G router include the ability to serve as a DHCP server, an SPI firewall, and support for VPN pass-through.
