Frequently Asked Questions

  • How easy is it to move up/down a driveway?

When the base is full it is fairly heavy and requires you to use your body to push. You have to push and kind of lift for it to roll on the wheels. We do move it but not something I would do regularly. the weight makes it very stable though remember you don't want it crashing on one of your cars when there is wind. It has been rock solid and has lasted in the SOCAL sun with no issues for about 6 months now.

  • Can it be stored, say in a garage?

It can if your garage is tall enough, or you can if you take apart the support pole. Either way, it can be done. Just depends on how much work you want to do.

  • How much sand is needed to fill the base?

We didn't use sand. We used water and added some anti-freeze, so it wouldn't crack or freeze.
