The LG BD630 is a lower mid-cost Blu-ray player. This player shows Blu-ray content in 1080p, and upscales standard DVDs to near HD. A wired Ethernet port on the BD630 allows you to access content from sites such as NetFlix, Vudu, CinemaNow and YouTube. To take full advantage of the Blu-ray format, the BD630 also provides access to BD Live, which offers a wide variety of content, such as movie scene extras, new previews and the ability to read synopses and rate movies. Also included are Bonus View features that provide picture-in-picture access to Blu-ray Disc special features, so that you can toggle between movie scenes and bonus features on the disc. This model differs from the higher cost BD640 model in that the BD640 has WiFi capability (with an included adapter). The LG BD630 Blu-ray player has a slim, compact design that is geared toward complimenting the look of modern HDTVs.
