The LG 50PK5500 is the 50 inch member of the PK5500 series of plasma televisions announced at CES 2010. It is built with a slender frame so that doesn't take up as much space as a traditional big screen television. It has a USB connection and HDMI inputs. The LG 50PK5500 includes the LG new panel which is designed to reduce reflections inside of the plasma panel. The PK5500 series is one of the smaller lines of large screen televisions produced by LG and includes three different sizes, the smallest 42, the medium size 50 and the largest in the series is the 60 inches. The other 50 inch television in the series is the 50PJ350.
