The LG XPION X30 is an Ion-based portable nettop that debuted in Korea during September 2009. It is powered by nVidia’s ION graphics chipset, which is engineered to handle high-definition 1080p video playback without difficult. It features an Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard-disc drive. It will initially be retailing with Windows Vista, but an updated Windows 7 version is likely to appear by 2010. The X30 is meant to be especially portable and easy-to-handle, as it weighs only 2.4 pounds and relies on just 40W of power. It can also be VESA mounted onto the back of an LCD monitor.
