The LG AR702 is a mid-range home theatre A/V receiver with a total of 7 channels and 800W power output. It has a 200W subwoofer channel, as well as 3 rear and 3 front channels, and each group includes a center channel. It has numerous inputs and outputs, including front and rear digital and analog audio, as well as HDMI inputs and output, USB, PC-link and component video in/out. It also has an AM/FM radio tuner with up to 50 preset channels, optional XM radio input and compatible with numerous digital audio formats, including Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX and Dolby Prologic II. It has a 24-bit digital-to-analog converter and 192kHz sampling rate. Its multiple connectivity options are supposed to make the AR702 a versatile receiver. LG also offers the AR702 in a package with a 6.1 stereo system.
