The USBConnect Turbo is AT&T's first USB modem made by LG, released alongside with the USBConnect Velocity on March 7th, 2010. Both are certified at 7.2 Megabits per second on a 3G network and have built-in GPS. Addresses and contacts may be entered into either AT&T, Google or Yahoo Maps and you can instantly know where you are and where you are going. This Turbo version boasts a rotating connector design that is compatible with a wide range of laptop port configurations and, like the Velocity it is compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms. A two year data plan from AT&T is required to use these modems, with the up-front cost being free for both, and a monthly fee after that. They also double as USB flash drives, with a a Micro SD card slot capable of taking up to 16GB cards.
