Edit

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 is an ultra portable laptop featuring a 12.5” IPS or LED display with a 1366x768 resolution. It was released alongside the X220T convertible tablet, which offers a multi-touch display, but hosts a weaker 16-hour (versus 23 hour) battery. Like its peer, the X220 laptop relies on a Sandy Bridge processor up to quad-core 2.7GHz, that when combined with up to 8GB of RAM, gives the laptop the type of processing power typically found on a premium desktop. It comes with a regular hard drive, but speed buffs can opt for a faster solid state driver instead up to 160GB. The battery life is the key selling point for the X220, as it’s invaluable to on the go professionals, but there’s also a 720p webcam for high resolution web conferencing. Plus the dual digital microphones cancel out all ambient noise, meaning voice is transmitted clearly.
