Edit

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is an ultra-portable notebook. With a thickness of only 21.5mm, it is an addition to the X-Series notebooks along side the ThinkPad X220. The X1 will be one of the first notebooks to feature the RapidCharge technology; this technology allows the battery to be charged up to 80% level within 30 minutes. As a comparison, that is over two times faster than previous batteries used in ThinkPad notebooks. Unfortunately there is a downside to this battery: it is not user removable much like Apple's MacBook Air. Any battery replacement will have to be done by Lenovo's service depot or a certified technician. Other features of the X1 includes an Intel Core i series processor, a 160Gb solid state drive, and a 13.3'' displayed covered with scratch proof Gorilla Glass.
