The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 15 is one of two Windows 7 laptops released in April 2010 as a step-up from the ThinkPad Edge 13. They include the same design, including a spill-resistant chiclet keyboard, but host more powerful specifications. In particular, the Edge 15 takes a step further by building from the 14 by incorporating a larger 15.6” HD glossy display. It is otherwise a duplicate, as is evident by its Intel Core i3 processor, 2GB integrated RAM (4GB total), and 250GB integrated HDD (320GB total). It took is limited to Bluetooth wireless as an upgrade. Everything else—including a DVD drive, a 14” display, and WiFi—is there to stay permanently. Overall Edge isn’t recommended for graphics-intensive games or memory-intensive applications, but it does include enough for web browsing, Internet chatting/networking, word processing and, of course, watching videos.
