The IdeaPad Z560 is a mainstream multimedia laptop from Lenovo, released in June 2010. This computer features a 15.6-inch widescreen display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors are available as configuration choices, along with the Nvidia GeForce 315M powering the graphics. This product has been designed handle a wide range of media-intensive applications; users can add up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and up to 640GB of storage. This notebook has a larger screen by about 2 inches and weighs approximately one pound more in comparison to the IdeaPad Z360. This notebook contrasts the IdeaPad Z565, which offers AMD processors and ATI graphics options opposed to the Intel processor and Nvidia choices with the IdeaPad Z560. Blu-ray is an optional upgrade from a standard DVD drive, a compliment to Dolby’s Advanced Audio technology. With a press of the “OneKey Theater II” button, the laptop will automatically tune the sound and visual configuration to match the surrounding environment. The Z560 features a “Metallic Effect” chassis instead of a fingerprint-attracting glossy exterior.
