The ThinkStation S20 line is a series of Lenovo workstations designed mainly for business or workspace use. These are more basic than the D10 models, though they can be thoroughly customized or upgraded. Lenovo offers four starting packages, all of which have identical features except for HDD type and operating system options. All possible D20 models have, at minimum, a dual-core Intel Xeon W3503 processor, at 2.4GHz, as well as 2GB of RAM. They also all use (at least) the NVIDIA Quadro NVS290 graphics processing unit. The hard drives are arranged in an array configuration, and the basic model comes with a 250GB SATA drive, though these can be upgraded, and the higher-level models use SAS hard drives as opposed to SATA. All of the S20 models have integrated network cards, and none of them come with an optical drive. High-spec S20 models are expensive, but can include multiple extra hard drives, optical drives, and processors as fast as 3.33 GHz and 1333MHz FSB, as well as RAM capacity and type upgrades. Viewing the Lenovo website to compare different models is recommended. These workstations do not include mice, keyboards, or monitors, though these can be added.
