Edit

The Leica V-LUX 2 is a compact digital camera described by critics as a re-badged Panasonic FZ100. They both look familiar and share similar components like a high-performance LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 4.5-108mm f/2.8/5.2 ASPH zoom lens, a 14.1MP CMOS sensor, a 3” (460k) swivel screen, and the same chassis—though the buttons have clearly been rearranged. Regardless of the similarities, there are some worthwhile features to consider, such as an 11fps burst mode, 1080i video capture, a 24x superzoom capability, and a 7.2V, 895mAh proprietary lithium-ion battery. However the big concern is over why the price is so high, when it’s nearly the exact same thing as the $499.99 FX100.
