Introduced at CES 2009, the Kodak Zx1 is the follow up to Kodak's earlier 720p capable camcorder - the 6 month old Zi6. Featuring a 2" LCD screen, the ability to capture 720p at 60fps, an easy YouTube upload option and IP43-certified weather resistant enclosure, the Zx1 will use SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB to store up to 10 hours of HD video. Running on AA batteries, the unit will come with 2 rechargable batteries, and a bundled HDMI cable for easy playback with any recent HD A/V equipment. Planned for a launch in April for an affordable 149.95, the unit will be available in a number of colours: pink, blue, yellow, red and black.
