Edit

The EasyShare Z950 is a higher-end consumer digital camera from Kodak. Advertised as offering 'pro-like' performance, the Z950 utilizes a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens with 10x optical zoom, shooting at a resolution of up to 12 megapixels. Optical, but not digital, image stabilization is included, minimizing the effect of camera shake. Kodak also builds in a 'Smart Capture' feature, which detects scene conditions and composition and adjusts camera settings accordingly. The Z950 also captures HD video at 30 fps, and features a 3" LCD display, but lacks a manual viewfinder. PASM modes allow the user to set aperture and shutter speed or allow the camera to set either, or both, automatically.
