The Klipsch VS-14 is a low-cost 200 watt surround speaker. Like many of Klipsch's home theater surround speakers across price ranges, the VS-14 is laid out in the WDST (Wide Dispersion Surround Technology) configuration, which provides a high-dispersion pattern with a detailed sound. This is the same technology that Klipsch uses on their professional cinema systems. The 4.5" fiber-composite lightweight cone woofer of the VS-14 is high output, with a balanced tone. The dual 1" aluminum dome tweeters are equipped with 4.5" XT Tractrix horns, which equalize the tweeter's sound waves, thereby smoothing the dispersion pattern. The Klipsch VS-14 comes in a black vinyl finish.
