The Klipsch F-30 is one of three floorstanding tower speakers released as additions to the Synergy Series in August 2010. All models in the series incorporate proprietary Tractrix Horn technology, which uses linear travel suspension and aluminum diaphragm compression drivers to reduce distortion and ensure crystal-clear frequencies. As the top unit in the series, the F-30 maintains the signature 1” high-frequency tweeter mated to a 90-by-60-degree horn, but trades in its predecessors’ small 6.5” woofers in favor of two large 8” rigid IMG cones. This gives it the power (up to 600W total) to fill large rooms with lifelike music and film sound reproduction. It also affects the frequency by widening it even further to a 35Hz-23kHz range.
