The B-20 is a mid-range bookshelf speaker from Klipsch, released in late 2010. This product is part of the company’s Synergy Series, which includes similarly featured floorstanding towers and center channels. Like the others, the B-20 sees upgraded crossovers and horns, plus a new design that provides more output with less energy. Klipsch has implemented Tractrix Horn technology, which produces more coverage in the low and high frequency sound range. The B-20 also uses Linear Travel Suspension and aluminum diaphragms to minimize distortion. The dynamic tweeter measures .75” while the high-output woofer is 5.25” in diameter. The Klipsch B-20 comes in a black ash vinyl finish, complete with gray trim accents.
