The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 are a pair of computer speakers that combine top-quality sound with visual appeal to deliver an “incredible splash of sophistication to laptops and PCs.” The second of two computer speaker sets, the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 is an upgrade from the Klipsch Groove PM20 in that it adds along a one side-firing 6.5” long-throw fiber composite cone subwoofer. In addition, the ProMedia 2.1 sports a full-range 3.0” (versus 2.5”) fiber composite driver (per speaker), a 0.75” poly compression driver with a MicroTractrix Horn (per speaker), and a braced, tuned port enclosure with system-specific loudness contour for enriched, balanced, and dynamic listening at various output levels. In addition, the ProMedia 2.1 utilizes a bass-level feature that adjusts for user preference and listening environment, not to mention a space-saving design that can easily transform any desktop into a fashionable entertainment center. Most importantly, the ProMedia 2.1 comes equipped with inputs/outputs for both audio sources (MP3 players, iPods) and video sources (Televisions, DVD Players). The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 retails for a more expensive $149.99 (versus $99.99) and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
