Edit

The Mode M40 are the second set of on-ear headphones from Klipsch since the Image One, offering up to 45 hours of active noise canceling (ANC) on a single battery. Unlike the Image Ones, this is an over-ear design, with larger collapsible ear cups fitted with high grade leather that completely engulf the ear for total sound isolation in any environment. Bass and midrange frequencies are produced via two dynamic moving coil 40mm woofers that employ an active crossover, which are combined with two 15mm tweeters for crisp highs. Two detachable 3.5mm cables are included, one of which carries an Apple certified three button inline remote and microphone. Frequency response is rated at 20 Hz - 20 kHz and the total weight is just .78 pounds. Klipsch have announced a fall 2011 release with a price and overall style and design competitive with the popular Beats by Dre headphones.
