Edit

The Kenwood KDC-148 is a basic low-cost head unit. AM/FM radio functionality is built in along with a panel of quick-recall buttons for favorite stations. The CD player handles standard audio CDs as well as burned discs with MP3 and WMA files. Additional audio can come from a front auxiliary port built to connect to an external device's headphone jack. Tone adjustment can be handled through an Equalizer and a separate bass boost. The 2V RCA preamp makes adding an external amplifier easier, and a low-pass filter is built in to keep audio distortion-free. A remote control is also included to provide quick access to common functions such as track skipping and volume adjustment.
