The Kenwood DDX616 is a mid-range audio/visual head unit that serves as a follow-up to the Kenwood DDX516. For the most part they are the same, but now Bluetooth is integrated allowing for hands-free audio and interfacing with Bluetooth enabled devices. The 6.1 inch touchscreen display allows for full control of a connected iPod, and additional inputs are available through a rear USB, AV, or Rear Camera input. An AV output is also available for external displays, if needed. In addition to playing DVDs the player is compatible with MP3, WMA, AAC, MPEG, and burned CD formats. Audio is output to 4 channels at 50 watts, and preouts are available for additional front, rear and subwoofer amplifiers. With additional accessories, this unit is Navigation, Satellite, and HD Radio ready.
