The KEF KHT1505 is a set of speakers for a 5.1 surround sound home theater system. The overall design profile is compact to minimize the amount of space being used, and a glossy black finish with die-cast aluminium on the satellites and black ash veneer on the subwoofer are used to match the most common designs for flat-panel displays. The center speaker and each satellite use a single 0.75 inch tweeter with dual 2 inch low-frequency drivers to cover the mids and highs, and can be mounted on the wall horizontally or vertically. The subwoofer uses an 8 inch front-firing bass driver for deep sound, and a 200 watt Class-D amplifier is built in for extra volume. The entire system uses an 8 ohm impedance for better signal clarity, and magnetic shielding is used to avoid causing interference in other devices.
