The KEF XQ30 is a floor standing tower speaker aimed at the audiophile market. It contains similar components to the KEF XQ50c, but features a larger cabinet design for better resonance and a richer tone that can provide clear representation of deeper bass frequencies. It is followed in the series by the KEF XQ40, which offers more drivers and a louder output. A 5.25 inch driver is paired with a 5.25 Uni-Q that surrounds a 0.75 inch aluminum dome, enabling a natural sound with strong and detailed bass support without distortion. The 8 Ohm impedance and magnetic shielding help to reduce the amount of interference from surrounding devices and wiring, and the speakers as a whole are capable of up to 150 Watts of output.
