Edit

The KEF C5 is a mid-range floorstanding speaker. This is a smaller version of the KEF C7, with a lower amplification maximum of 150 watts and smaller dual 5.25 inch drivers to cover the mids and lower ranges. Highs use the same 0.75 inch tweeter as the rest of the KEF C series, and uses a "tangerine" waveguide to spread the output to a wider area in front of the speaker. A number of other features remain the same including the use of 8 Ohm impedance for a cleaner signal, gold-plated speaker bindings for better signal transmission, and magnetic shielding to prevent interference from outside sources.
