Edit

The K2 Format is an all mountain snowboard designed for riders of every skill level. The Format features a dual progressive side cut design for turns and the new ICG 10 top tri-axial glass with the W1 wood core. The ICG 10 glass top is for durability to withstand harsh conditions and keep the board looking new longer.

Additional features of the Format include a three degree edge bevel and hybritech construction and a 2000 Extruded base tech. K2 states that hybritech construction "is a more efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing performance". With this type of construction the sidewall runs along the surface that flows into the nose and tail which is meant to provide low swing weight, better turn initiation, and durability.
