The JVC DR-MV100B is a DVD/VCR video recorder combo from JVC's 2008 lineup and is an upgrade to the DR-MV79B.  Unlike the tunerless DR-MV79B, the DVD recorder features built-in ATSC and NTSC tuners for recording high definition programs.  It offers 1080p up-conversion for improved audio and video quality and is also capable of VHS-to-DVD dubbing.  The DR-MV100B supports playback of DivX files and offers a variety of playback and recording formats including –R/RW, +R/RW and DVD-RAM discs.  It features progressive scan output and has a variety of connectivity options including an HDMI output and a convenient front-panel DV input for hooking up a camcorder to the device.  The video recorder has an MSRP of $250 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
