Edit

The RD-N1 is an entry-level shelf system and iPod/iPhone dock from JVC. In addition to charging and playing a docked iPod or iPhone, the RD-N1 plays CDs and FM radio – with 20 presets – and features a USB port for connecting other portable media players. It supports MP3 and WMA audio, with tag display, and, like most competing shelf systems, features a bass enhancement mode. The system is very similar to the UX-G210, which lacks an iPod dock. Both systems output only 3 W per channel – the 2x35W UXLP5 represents a major upgrade in power, but is relatively close to the RD-N1 in price.
