Edit

The JVC EX-D1 is an executive micro system that contains the same woodcone speakers that can be found in others in its line.  With standard features such as a sleep timer, wake-up volume, display dimmers, and the company's Hybrid Feedback Digital Amplifier - the JVC EX-D1 is an appealing system, both visually and feature wise.  It offers some other aspects such as supporting a variety of CD and DVD formats and offering USB link capabilities so that a user can connect it to their PC.  It has a cherrywood exterior for its speaker boxes making the unit look the full amount of its cost.
