The JVC XV-N680B is the top of the line of JVCs budget level DVD players which has a few upgrades over it's counterpart, the XV-N370B. Most importantly is the addition of an HDMI Output which up-converts the video stream to 1080p for better picture quality, as well as an improved video A/D conversion rate of 14-bit/108MHz compared to 10-bit found in the other models. Other features remain the same including support for multiple video and audio formats as well as a host of outputs including S-Video, Dolby Digital/DTS Digital Outputs, Component Video Output and Coaxial Digital Audio Outputs. The graphic user interface (GUI) is the same with multiple language support, quick loading, book marker search, zoom play, resume function and auto power off. Ultra-slim 1-9/16" profile is also the same and the unit comes with remote control.
