Edit

The JVC Everio GZ-X900 is a compact, high-definition camcorder released in September 2009. It utilizes a KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with a 1/233” CMOS sensor to record full 1920x1080i video at 60fps, or slow-motion video (with reduced size) at 600fps. Included also is a 2.8” LCD panel and more importantly, an easy-to-use touch-sensitive slide bar that runs along the left edge of the flip-out — which means a user need not touch the LCD panel itself to operate the device. Additional notable aspects include 9MP still shots, the ability to upload video directly to one’s YouTube account, and fifteen scene modes. Some notable drawbacks include the lack of headphone and microphone jacks, the omission of 24p (film-like) and 30p (web-friendly) video recording modes, and a short battery life span.
