Edit

The JVC Everio GZ0HD10US is a hard-disk-based HD camcorder that supports AVCHD along with normal MPEG-2 formats. Integrated into the camcorder is a state of the art CMOS chip - a 1/3-inch, 2.6-megapixel version which is unusual given the fact that JVC usually uses low-resolution CCDs. The JVC Everio GZ0HD10US includes FireWire (i.Link) interfaces, which is not available on some of the up and coming camcorders, and is used for dealing with the MPEG-2's HDV-compatible data stream. It has 1920x1080 / 60P output, meaning that when the video is played on a TV that accepts 1080P input the end result is high quality, with the jagged diagonals resulting from interlace images smoothed out and unnoticeable.
