The Jensen VM9224 is a in-dash DVD receiver for double-DIN dash openings. It Jensen's middle-of-the-road multimedia DVD receiver, lacking only voice control and an HD radio. The 6.2" touchscreen can playback movies and video when the car is parked, and offers a touchscreen audio control while driving. The video can also be output to a rear video screen while driving. In terms of audio, the Jensen VM9224 offers MP3 and WMA playback off of CD/DVD media, in addition to off of USB drives or SD cards. There is also an auxiliary input for anything that can output to 3.5mm headphone. If an iPod/iPhone is plugged into the USB port, direct control of the device, including media browsing and ID3 tag reading/display is possible. The Jensen VM9224 is both navigation and bluetooth ready, and has preouts to control speakers and subwoofers.
