The JBL Duet is an entry-level two-piece speaker system for desktop computers and portable media players. Available in white and aluminum finishes, the Duet outputs 6W per channel. It contains dual Phoenix transducers utilizing Tangential Strain Relief technology, which aims to reduce distortion and increase bass response. JBL says its Adverse Pressure Gradient port design further enhances bass. Though still for sale, the Duet has been superseded by the Duet II, which offers similar features, but a radically different aesthetic.
