The Intel Core i7-960 combines four 3.20 GHz computing cores into a single processor, with 8MB of smart cache for responsiveness, an integrated memory controller for increased memory bandwidth and Quick Path Interconnect design for rapid data transfer. It permits up to 8 simultaneous threads and has a max turbo frequency of 3.46 GHz. The processor can accomodate a maximum memory size of 24GB and supports DDR3-800/1066 memory. It does not support AES New Instructions.
