The i-mate JASJAM is a mid-range sliding smartphone handset, enabled for the 3G network and designed to be a PDA/phone combination. It has a large, 2.8"-diagonal 65k-color touchscreen with stylus and handwriting recognition, and the screen slides horizontally to access a full QWERTY keypad. The JASJAM features high-speed data transfer, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. It also has a 2.0-megapixel digital camera with video capture, and has a secondary QCIF videocalling camera. Its processing speed is 400MHz, and the operating system is Microsoft Pocket Office 5.0. This includes Microsoft PocketOffice document viewer and editor. It allows MMS, SMS, email and instnat messaging, and also has an mp3 player. It has 64MB RAM and 128MB of ROM, and memory can be expanded with microSD cards. Battery life is typically 5 hours of talk time per charge.
