The Sprint Express is an entry-level smartphone meant to provide the full Android experience at a low price point. It features a full QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.3, a 2.6-inch QVGA (320 x 240) display, a 3.2MP camera, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of internal storage (expandable via microSD), a 1,500mAh battery and 3G mobile hotspot capability. Additionally, the Express is available at a severely discounted price on contrast.

The Express' full QWERTY keyboard provides a much more comfortable typing experience than is available from touch-only devices, making it ideal for frequent texters. Its Android 2.3 operating system allows the Express to access the Android Marketplace and its hundreds of thousands of free and paid apps. Meanwhile, the Express' 3G mobile hotspot capability allows it to provide up to five devices simultaneously with Sprint 3G access.
