The HP Photosmart 8250 is a higher-end color inkjet printer. With USB and PictBridge connections, and a 2.5" LCD flip-up display to view and edit photos before printing, the 8250 enables printing directly from a digital camera, bypassing the PC. Print speed reaches 32 pages per minute for black text, and 14 seconds for a 4 x 6 color photo. The 8250 is therefore much faster than the lower-end 8050, but some reviews suggest it produces inferior print quality, despite an identical maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. A 20-sheet photo tray and 100-sheet letter-size paper tray are included. Other add-ons are available at extra cost, such as a Bluetooth adapter and automatic duplexer.
