Edit

The HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw is an all-in-one scanner, printer and fax machine. While not the fastest printer in the HP line, large trays and automatic document feeders allow for unattended operation for larger jobs. A 3.5 inch color touchscreen allows for menu-driven access to the printer's functions. Printing is done at 600 x 600 dpi for both black and color prints, and scanning is handled at 1200 dpi. Scanning is handled on a flatbed, but an ADF can be used for scanning stacks of papers at once for copying or creating PDFs. Duplexing is not automatic, but manual duplexing is supported in the driver. Connecting to the printer is possible through USB, a standard 10/100 Ethernet port, or WiFi. This printer comes with a 1 year warranty.

Can you scan over wifi with this printer or do you have to connect via USB?

From looking at the manual it should scan over WiFi pretty easily. Essentially, if you can print over wifi, you can scan over wifi. There's no indication in the manual that that's not true.

There's also have a cool option where you can scan to a USB stick.

Thanks Omar. I currently have an officejet printer that I have connected to my network through jetdirect and it will not scan unless connected through a usb cable. It will only print via the network so wanted to double check before I make this purchase. Appreciate the info!
