The Laser Jet P3015dn is one of HP's lower-cost laser printers. Like the entire Laser Jet series, HP promotes the P3015dn as being fast and easy-to-use. It prints up to 42 pages a minute, the first page coming out in 7.5 seconds. That includes complex text/image documents, which the 540 MHz Motorola Coldfire V5 processor helps with. The 128 MB printer memory is expandable up to 640 MB. HP's Instant-On technology cuts down warm-up time 50% from previous models, and has a Low Power mode that saves energy. The P3015dn has a 600 sheet input capacity, but you can add up to two extra 500-sheet paper trays to increase the capacity to 1600. With the USB 2.0 port, you can do walk-up printing (as long as it is with a PDF, PRN or PS file extension). The HP Laser Jet P3015dn comes with a four-line LCD screen, with a Show-Me-How menu that helps you get started.
