the touch sensors on the keyboard are defective causing bass and treble malfunctions and the wireless router to turn on and off. There is no fix for this. DO NOT BUY. Having to replace after 5 mo.

It's actually the real reason why they discontinued the laptop. Mine did the exact same thing. Randomly turning off the wifi and treble/bass scroll became infuriating. The tech support was useless and I eventually sent it in. They fixed the problem but I eventually had to wipe the hard drive and whatever patch they did and the problem came right back. HP refuses to admit they created a lemon because they don't want to replace them.

How many other people are buying this and realizing that the blue ray player will not work unless you purchase an upgrade for the software? I was totally unaware. Why can't it just work when you buy the laptop?!!

There is a bios upgrade that will fix the WiFi problem located on HP website.....search for drivers and locate the correct upgrade. 08/12
