The HP Pavilion dm1 is a mid-range ultraportable laptop which expands and improves upon the previous year's model. This refresh offers an Intel Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor option as well as AMD Zacate options, including the previous iteration's E-350 chip (the Intel option comes with an external optical drive while the AMD options do not). This dm1 also features an updated design and construction while still offering the same 11.6" HD LED display and AMD Radeon HD graphics options of the original.
The Pavilion dm1's processor options all feature a low-power design meant to reduce battery drain while still allowing for smooth day-to-day usage. Its redesigned exterior provides the Pavilion dm1 with a sleeker look while its matte, Soft-touch rubber lid offers better grip for easier carrying while reducing glare and fingerprints. Meanwhile, the Pavilion dm1's AMD Radeon HD graphics options all offer HD video playback and Direct X 11 gaming capabilities.
