The HP EliteBook 8460p is a high-end notebook laptop designed specifically for business use. It features bead-blasted magnesium-aluminum casing, second generation Intel Core i7/i5 processor options, hard disk and solid state storage options, up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM and a choice of integrated Intel HD graphics or an AMD Radeon HD 6470M GPU. Additionally, the 8460p sports a 14" LED-backlit display, two USB 3.0 ports and SRS Premium Sound.

The EliteBook 8460p's bead-blasted magnesium-aluminum casing is smudge resistant and extremely durable, meeting MIL-STD 810G military standards. Its second generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processor options allow the 8460p to handle moderate to heavy multitasking with little slowdown while consuming less battery life than first generation Core i processors. This one looks a bit chunky and heavy, but actually it's pretty good in the weight department with 4.56 lb (2.07 kg). I couldn't find the battery life in the specs - it only says up to 32.5h, but that must be a huge, protruding battery.
