Pros

Re-imaging is an easy task from a reserved area of the hard drive, even if you've forgotten to run the DVD creator utility (which you should always do with today's new computers).

The screen, which in Windows is to say the Desktop, is big enough if you've previously felt cramped in your Desktop.

Cons

HP runs many processes, at the root level, which the user cannot control, many of which pre-emptively want Web access and will lock the user out to get Web access. However, many of these applications can be uninstalled from the control panel, at the cost of other functionality.

With a 64-bit Operating system (Windows), 4 GB and a 2.00 GHz Core2 DUO CPU, I was expecting much faster performance than I'm seeing with basic Windows utilities and Microsoft Office 2007.
