The HP TouchSmart 310z is a budget-friendly, touch-based all-in-one PC released designed to offer touchscreen functionality to users at a manageable price. The base unit houses an AMD Athlon II 240e dual-core (2.8GHz) CPU, 2GB of 2GB DDR3 RAM, and a free 640GB 7200rpm SATA upgrade (from 500GB). As an upgrade from previous TouchSmart generations, the TouchSmart 310z hosts a new ‘upside-down T’ design with an easy-to-adjust tilt and a more modern look. Another major improvement is the touch software, which now is easier to use and more responsive to user touch. Featured also is integrated Gigabit / Wireless N connectivity, a 720-compliant 20” widescreen display, and integrated audio in addition to a specialized ATI Radeon HD 4270 card for graphics applications.
