The HP 9000 rp3410 is a server that fits at the bottom of HP's 9000 rp3400 series of servers.  These servers run the robust HP-UX 11i operating system and can handle workloads requiring high availability and ample bandwidth, and are ideal for small to mid-sized businesses with distributed sites and branch offices. They are also built for the application and Web services tiers of enterprise data centers. These servers integrate seamlessly into an existing IT infrastructure to provide longevity and investment protection.  These use the same HP zx1 Chipset as the HP Integrity servers based on the Intel Itanium 2 processor.  The standardized design of these servers allows for an easy in-box upgrade to the next model HP 9000 rp3440 Server. The HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) enables single point administration, while the HP Secure Web Console allows for web-based management allowing for ultimate flexibility. HP's Extended Fault Management System is the ultimate in error detection and avoidance allowing for a high uptime.

There is one model of HP 9000 rp3410 available; the A9954A, which is 2-core capable with one PA-8900 800 MHz processor-core installed and has no installed memory. There are several optional high-availability and business-continuity solutions available to upgrade this system.
