The HP Wireless Elite Keyboard is a middle-end wireless keyboard. It is similar to another product from HP, the Wireless Deluxe Laptop Keyboard. Both keyboards feature multimedia keys, and both use wireless technology. However, the Wireless Deluxe Laptop Keyboard has an advantage, as it has more functions (including programmable buttons). The Wireless Elite Keyboard features 2.4GHz wireless technology, that has minimal lag and dropouts. The technology also lets the user use the keyboard from up to 32 feet away, letting the user take their keyboard throughout a room without worrying about it disconnecting. It also features a spill resistant surface, making it easy to clean if a liquid is spilt on it. It also minimizes any potential damage resulting from the spill. The Wireless Elite keyboard also features a sleep button, which puts the PC into sleep mode. This helps conserve energy when the user is not using the computer.
