The Honeywell 3-speed digital tower fan with ionizer exudes the feel of a spring breeze throughout your home. The powerful, Turbo Wind generator blades move more air than typical blades. You can turn on the breeze mode to simulate a gentle outdoor wind, or set the fan to shut off on its own in 2-, 4-, or 8-hour intervals. Either way, you can control it from your favorite spot with the convenient remote control, which features three cooling speeds and infrared technology. The tilted head also allows for directional cooling, and the strong motor operates with a quiet performance. Best of all, this fan's ionizer and dust/pollen filter can provide relief from allergies.

  • Is the Temp Control on this fan Just for information, Or does it really cool down (change Temp) in the area?

It does not actively cool the air like an air conditioner would. Instead, it will automatically shut off if the air temperature reaches the threshold temperature you set.
Example: You go to bed and it's 78 degrees, so you run your fan to cool you off. A few hours later, it drops to 74 degrees (the set threshold), so the fan shuts it self off.

  • How do you clean this?

The back cover comes right off and there's a filter just like a window air conditioner. We smoke, so I rinse it out with the sprayer over the sink, then put a couple drops of Dawn on a round, soft bristle brush and scrub lightly. If you don't smoke, you might not even need the brushing.
